Hack and hints
There are many ways to stop/remove all Docker containers.
On Unix/Linux :
docker stop $(docker ps -a -q)
docker rm $(docker ps -a -q)
One-liner:
docker rm -f $(docker ps -a -q)
For All images :
docker rmi $(docker images -q)
Remove all containers and volumes :
docker rm -v $(docker ps -a -q)
Stop faster docker images :
docker ps -a -q | xargs -n 1 -P 8 -I {} docker stop {}
Windows
FOR /f "tokens=*" %i IN ('docker ps -a -q') DO docker rm %i
Powershell
docker rm @(docker ps -aq)
